To the mom who wonders if what she does matters..who wonders if picking up crayons, cheerios, and toys all day long really makes a difference…today, I want you to know it does. You are changing this world by changing the life of that little one in your arms.

To the mom whose children are grown…today, I want to say thank you for all the sacrifices you made over the years. We who are now raising children of our own owe a debt of gratitude to you.

To the mom who never got to hold her baby on this earth…today, I want you to know you are thought of. You are remembered. And you are a mother, even if you’ve never met your child.

To the woman who was never able to bear children…today, I want you to know you are thought of too. I know this day is hard.

To the woman who has loved the children of others….today, I want you to know what a blessing you are. Thank you for loving those who at times might be unlovable and for stepping up when others stepped back.

To the birth mom who blessed another family with her child…who gave that family the greatest gift a person could ever give…I want you to know you are a mother too, a mother who changed the life of another family.
