2 Ways To Be Happy

There are really only 2 ways to be happy. 

You can either get everything you want…

OR

You can choose to be happy with what you have.

If you’ve been following me for very long, you probably already know that gratitude has been life-changing for me.

But it’s also hard to practice.

Hard because life isn’t always a bed of roses…

Or, actually, maybe that’s a great description because roses have A LOT of thorns.

So though they are beautiful, they are also painful.

And isn’t that exactly what life is like?

Beautiful AND painful.

But just because it’s painful doesn’t mean we have to walk around unhappy all the time.

It is possible to choose happiness. To choose joy. To choose gratitude in spite of the painful moments.

My kids are on spring break this week, so I’m keeping this post short and sweet but just wanted to send out one quick challenge for the week.

There are 2 ways to be happy…get everything you want (but who has this reality?) OR learn to be happy with what you have.

Don’t wait for things to go your way to be happy.

If you do that, you’ll never really be fully satisfied.

Instead, let’s choose to be happy with what we have right now.
