Thankfulness Challenge – Thank the Heroes in Your Life

Week 3 Thankfulness Challenge - Thank your heroesThis is Week 3 of the Thankfulness Challenge. To catch up on previous challenges, click on the following links:

Week 1 Challenge: Write in a journal 1 thing for which you’re thankful each day in November.

Week 2 Challenge: Thank your spouse for the little things, not just the big things.

Now for today’s challenge…

Week 3 Thankfulness Challenge: Thank the heroes in your life.

Who are the unsung heroes in your life…the ones who have made a difference in the person you are today?

Maybe it’s your mom or dad. Maybe it’s your minister or a Sunday school teacher. Maybe it was a grandparent who never stopped loving you. Maybe it was a teacher who believed in you when no one else did. Maybe it was a friend who stuck by you through a difficult season. Maybe it was another family member.

Choose at least one person this week and thank them for the contribution they made to your life. Write them a note, send them a message on Facebook, or give them a call.

We often put off thanking those we love because we assume they already know or because we think it might be uncomfortable. The truth is, none of us know how long we have on this earth.

Don’t leave something unsaid that you have the power to say today.

Leave a comment sharing one person you’re thankful for and why. Then, if you’d like, share a tweet or Facebook post with the hashtag #thankfulchallenge. And don’t forget to join the conversation on my Facebook Author Page or on Twitter.

My mom, she was amazing! She was almost perfection!! Was able to do it all! And crippled for life. She was there for everything I dis or my sister’s did and supported us in everything.
Lost two children and her faith never once waivered
