Have a Better Marriage in 21 Days: Week 3 Challenges

Have a better marriage in just 3 weeks! If you’d like to have a better marriage (or if you just want to be intentional about yours), this is the challenge for you!

Basically, it goes like this:

Each day, we’ll do one small thing to better our marriage.

I’ll post the list of weekly challenges on Monday each week. You can use the list in the order it’s written or rearrange the items to better fit your schedules.

Are you ready for this week’s activities? Here they are!

(And if you’re curious about the previous weeks’ challenges, here is week 1 and here is week 2. You can join now, or go back and begin on the first week of challenges!)

7 Activities to Better Your Marriage (Week 3):

  1. Think about couples you admire. What do they do well? Pray for this couple today.
  2. Couch time: Wives get to pick the activity you both do on the couch.
  3. Take care of some annoyance in your spouse’s day.
  4. Couch time: Husbands get to choose the activity you both do on the couch.
  5. Text or email a message to your spouse.
  6. Take over an activity your spouse doesn’t like doing for the day.
  7. Write (and then share) 10 things you like about your spouse.

If you’re in this week, please leave a comment here telling us you’re in!

*All of the daily ideas come from Roger and Kathi Lipp’s new book called Happy Habits for Every Couple: 21 Days to a Better Relationship. I just finished reading it and HIGHLY recommend you pick up a copy. You’ll get these ideas that I’m sharing every week, but also so much more. Along with the 21 activities, Roger and Kathi also provide date ideas and ways to improve your life in the bedroom (if you know what I mean)! You can pick up a copy here.
