It’s that time again-time to clean up the house and get ready for Spring. Included in this post is a PRINTABLE Spring Cleaning Checklist.

My husband and I plan one weekend a year for our spring cleaning. As much as I hate to clean, I do love the smell and feel of a clean home.

This year, I wanted to share my Spring Cleaning Checklist with you. I hope it helps as you plan your own Spring Cleaning.

Or you can use the list below (that’s broken down into individual rooms) as you wish.

Spring Cleaning Checklist 

Bathrooms:
Clean baseboards, door casings, walls, and doors
Clean floors
Clean toilets (inside and out)
Clean bath and shower
Clean sink and counter
Clean all decorative items, photo frames, and wall hangings
Dust light fixtures
Wash mirrors/windows/blinds
De-clutter drawers/cabinets
Wash all bath mats
Wash shower curtain and liner
Bedrooms:
Clean baseboards, door casings, walls, and doors
Clean floors (and move furniture to clean underneath)
Dust furniture
Clean all decorative items, photo frames, and wall hangings
Dust fans/light fixtures
Wash mirrors/windows/blinds
Turn/flip mattress
De-clutter dressers/closets (get rid of old clothes, toys, etc.)
Clean all toys
Wash bedding and pillows
Wash curtains
Living Room:
Clean baseboards, door casings, walls, and doors
Clean floors (and move furniture to clean underneath)
Dust furniture
Clean all decorative items, photo frames, and wall hangings
Dust fans/light fixtures
Dust television
Vacuum couch and chairs
Clean out fireplace
Wash mirrors/windows/blinds
Wash throw pillows and blankets
Wash curtains
Kitchen:
Clean baseboards, door casings, walls, and doors
Clean floors (and move fridge/stove to get underneath)
Clean countertops, sink, and kitchen table
Clean all decorative items, photo frames, and wall hangings
Dust fans/light fixtures
Wash mirrors/windows/blinds
De-clutter kitchen cabinets
Deep clean microwave
Deep clean dishwasher
Deep clean refrigerator
Deep clean stove
Outside:
Clean house with a power-washer
Clean windows
Clean out gutters
Power-wash the garage
Landscape (mow, weed, plant, etc.)
Other:
Bleach trashcans
Change batteries in smoke/carbon monoxide detectors
Change any light bulbs that have gone out
